| There are many messages the gods wish to impart upon us in our daily lives, and our ancestors really want to help us be the best version of ourselves we can be. It is through his interactions with the spiritual realm that the Shaman is capable of bringing these messages to the physical plane of existence for us, as well as teaching us to discover the source within ourselves. With a proud Norse demeanor he is able to relay these messages in ways that we can understand in our every day lives. This week's Rune Readings
|
The reading of the Nordic "Elder Futhark" runes of early Scandinavia requires an intuitive ability unlike "fortune telling". The runes display a connection from the deity by reminding us of our past lessons, as well as those influences of our present. This information is then used to make informed decisions about moving into our future. For this castings, we will use the "four winds" layout which demonstrate that which has, and will influence our trajectory moving forward.

Rune Reading for Thursday, 27 March 2025
|
|
|
|
The gods have offered us wisdom and guidance through the runes today. To reveal the influences of our past, we have drawn the rune of Raidho, in an upright position. The influences of our past indicate that the path that we have been traveling on has afforded us the opportunity to Implement the ordered growth of our spiritual understandings. We have received sound advice throughout our journey, that has given us a good sense of rational thought capable of being applied. Our present influence is that of Isa, and it is in an indeterminate position. Isa is a powerful rune, as it represents "the unity of being”. Currently we are establishing a balance between the spiritual and physical existences at which we are engaged. We are forming our balance between the consciousness and the ego, implementing that self-control necessary to initiate the process of denying influential energies that may attempt to derail us in the future. To further reveal our future influences, we have drawn the rune of Perthro and it is in an upright position. Our future indicates that we are well on our way to obtain our destiny of evolutionary change. Along this journey toward this change, it will bring fellowship, joy, and good omens. This is very exciting in that we are on the pathway to evolutionary change within our perspective of our existence. To understand what influences we should retain, we have drawn the rune Uruz in an upright state. Uruz is a very powerful rune, as it offers us the understanding that we should retain an intimate, pragmatic knowledge, for it to draw in our “luck”, vitality and strength. These are the energies that we will need to focus on maintaining, and open ourselves for allowing some of the energies to continue to manifest in our daily lives.

Rune Reading for Wednesday, 26 March 2025
|
|
|
|
The gods have offered us wisdom and guidance through the runes today. Today as we gaze into our past, the rune Perthro reminds us (as does the prophecy), of recognizing the patterns of existence. The energy we are receiving from this rune today indicates the unborn, or the unmanifested. Recognizing the intellect, we have within us from our previous experiences, the rune suggests that we may be undertaking a path to evolutionary change, and that there are good omens about the future. Today Perthro reveals to us the power of fellowship and encourages us to seek that out. Odinn's Rune requires that we ponder more deeply that which will influence our current position in this thing we call time. Odinn spent an existence searching for the experiences necessary to achieve wisdom within his mind. So too must we embrace each and every moment of our physical lifetime that we may recognize the gift that it is. The growth and learning that is only possible during a physical existence offers us insight into the hearts and minds of many that will come after us. We must embrace each moment. Today, the rune Hagalaz suggests the opposite of chaos in our future, an order, or inner harmony. Recognizing the lessons of our previous experiences we call upon a control to the crisis within our physical existence, forging the changes within our life for long-term good. Although Hagalaz represents the chaos within existence, it is only through an understanding and recognition of chaos can we ever hope to achieve a resemblance of order and peace. The god Tyr represents the spiritual warrior within each of us, and symbolizes the righteousness that we embody in our quest for honor. Honor, not glory. We seek, and should continue to seek, that which is just and right, and be ready to provide more of the self, sacrificed to assist our fellow life forms move to their next level of enlightenment. For one of our truest traits is that of loyalty. Now, is the time to embrace this trait even more tightly as we move forward.

Rune Reading for Tuesday - 25 March 2025
|
|
|
|
The gods have offered us wisdom and guidance through the runes today. Starting today we are looking into our past where we have drawn the rune, Mannaz, the rune of "perfected intelligence". However, it means that we simply have applied some cognitive thought to our experiences to determine which outcomes dictate further learning. We have only begun the journey of enlightenment. However, Mannaz also speaks to our recognition of the divine structure that we may call upon our creator to guide us through the obtaining an awareness to that which we must learn. Here in the present our influences are that of Sowilo, the rune of wholeness, or entirety. Sowilo offers us the cosmic energies that we may strengthen our chakras throughout our form to properly guide those energies which will help us grow into the success that we desire. It gives hope. The more powerful energy in the universe, and gives us reason for rising from our beds and conquering those mental balance that attempts to thwart our forward trajectory. Algiz represents the state of listening. As we move forward into our future, we are reminded that we have two ears and only one mouth, which indicates that our creator has intended that we do twice as much listening as we do speaking. However, the cautions in brings today is not to surrender to the fear that will arise. Fear of the loss of the divine link, fear of corruption by divine forces, and cautions us to be alert to the hidden dangers that my lie on the road ahead. As we look to retain the gifts offered to us by the creator moving forward in our lives, today he offers the rune Wunjo. The cautions issued by Wunjo today are that of "over-committing to someone else's perspective, Be aware of ulterior motives that lies in advice offered by others. It reminds us to control our emotions in balance by maintaining the wisdom of energy transmissions, and their effect on our thought process.

Rune Reading for Monday, 24 March 2025
|
|
|
The gods have offered us wisdom and guidance through the runes today. They reveal to me today, As we delve into our past to determine what lessons we might have received, Gebo reminds us about several very powerful tools to help us move forward. The first is the tool of appreciation. This is a mental action. Mentally embracing the understanding of true appreciation for the experiences within our lifetime. The other, forgiveness. While this concept came along much later in the evolution of our minds, the necessity of letting go of the negative energy is certainly understood with this word. Understanding the moment our consciousness inhabits brings a mastery of the self. The present speaks of being able to alter our trajectory in an effort to obtain peace within the mind. In today's reading Raidho in an upright position indicates that we are initiating a new path of ordered growth, and have accepted sound advice regarding our path. As we move forward into our future, the understanding of the power of the divine feminine, or kundalini. Today, we need to ponder our future as we prepare ourselves for the many changes that will occur within the energy passing through the body's chakra. Our future tells us that we have initiated a journey toward the enlightenment we seek within the spirits, embrace the energy and you will be moved in that direction. We would be remiss if we didn't recognize the authority that Thurisaz brings to our minds, and brings to bear when we need it. Thurisaz represents the breaker of resistance and self-empowerment through the obtainment within the thought process. Critical to our future path, Thurisaz recognizes the constructive conflict we must have to allow our beliefs and understandings change with the intellect received.
