These Terms are a contract between Alaska Úlfhéðnar (“Organization,” “we,” “us,” “our”) and you governing your use of akulfhednar.org (the “Site”). By accessing or using the Site, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy.
1) Who we are
Alaska Úlfhéðnar is a nonprofit organization devoted to cultural education and community well-being. Technical operations for this Site are provided by AKUMedia (DBA Alaska Outlaws LLC) as our service provider.
2) Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Effective date” will change when we do. Your continued use of the Site after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
3) Eligibility & acceptable use
You may use the Site only for lawful purposes and in a manner consistent with these Terms. You agree not to:

4) Non-clinical support & safety

5) Accounts, forms, and communications
If any portion of the Site allows creating an account or submitting forms:

6) Donations and payments
We do not process payment card data on this Site. If you donate or purchase through a third-party provider, your transaction is governed by that provider’s terms and privacy policy.

Unless noted otherwise, text, audio, video, and images on the Site are owned by their creators and licensed to Alaska Úlfhéðnar for publication. All rights are reserved. Trademarks, service marks, and logos appearing on the Site are the property of their respective owners and may not be used without permission.

You may not reproduce, distribute, adapt, or create derivative works from Site content without prior written permission (see DMCA & Permissions below).
8) Your submissions
If you submit messages, stories, questions, or other material to us (“Submissions”), you grant the Organization a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, display, and prepare derivative works from your Submissions for the purposes of operating the Site, responding to you, and advancing our nonprofit mission (e.g., anonymized learnings). You represent that you have the rights needed to grant this license and that your Submissions do not infringe others’ rights. We may edit Submissions for clarity, length, or safety.
9) Third-party links & services
The Site may link to third-party websites or services (including media hosts, donation providers, scheduling, or analytics). We are not responsible for third-party content, policies, or practices. Use of third-party services is at your own discretion and governed by their terms.
10) Privacy
Your use of the Site is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains what we collect and how we use it. Technical operations are provided by AKUMedia (DBA Alaska Outlaws LLC) as a service provider.

13) Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT WILL ALASKA ÚLFHÉÐNAR, ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, STAFF, VOLUNTEERS, OR SERVICE PROVIDERS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR DATA, ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SITE, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE SITE WILL NOT EXCEED USD $100.
14) Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Alaska Úlfhéðnar and its officers, directors, staff, volunteers, and service providers from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or related to your misuse of the Site or violation of these Terms.
15) Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Site at any time, with or without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties.
16) Governing law & venue
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Alaska, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. You agree to the exclusive jurisdiction and venue of the state and federal courts located in Anchorage, Alaska for any dispute arising from these Terms or the Site.
17) Severability; entire agreement
If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force. These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Site and supersede prior or contemporaneous understandings.
