This hearth stands for those who carry scars seen and unseen, calling them back to the old stories, the living land, and the knowing that they do not walk alone.

What We Do

Ancestral & Cultural Teachings
We offer non-clinical spiritual teachings grounded in our own ancestral path and in respectful relationship with Indigenous and ancestral traditions worldwide, where we are invited and it is appropriate. The focus is on appreciation, not appropriation, helping people reconnect with their own lineage and culture. Teachings are shared in person and online—often as talk-only audio, video, and transcripts—and, where appropriate, alongside elders and culturally grounded practitioners.

Spiritual Guidance & Circles
We offer non-clinical spiritual and cultural guidance for individuals and small groups, focused on balance, belonging, and everyday life rather than diagnosis or treatment. Circles and one-to-one work are consent-first, trauma-aware spaces where youth, elders, families, and culture-bearers can reflect, grieve, learn, and reconnect with their own ancestral paths.

Community & Cultural Outreach
We host and support public discussions, workshops, and community rituals—both in-person and online—that center cultural learning, story, and shared responsibility. Wherever invited, we walk alongside elders, youth, and culturally grounded practitioners to share knowledge in ways that are trauma-informed, consent-first, and respectful of local protocols and Indigenous sovereignty.

The Old Ones & the Living Land
We don’t work alone. We listen for the voices of the old ones who walked before us, and for the spirit of the lands we stand on. When someone remembers they belong to a people and a place—whether by blood, adoption, or chosen kin—the ground under their feet changes. The mind is still busy, the pain may still be real, but they are no longer a ghost in their own life.

Why Ancestry & Land Matter

We call on the spirits of the lands we stand upon, and we honor the cultures that shape the people who come to the hearth. Our work is guided by the understanding that a deep connection to one’s own cultural ancestry is one of the strongest answers to the human need for belonging. That belonging is not abstract for us—it is the current that runs under almost everything we do.

How We Work

We operate with care and accountability to the people we serve. What we do is spiritual and cultural, not medical.

– Non-clinical: We do not diagnose or treat; our work is not a substitute for medical or mental-health care. In an emergency, call 911 or 988.
– Consent-first & trauma-aware: Participation and story-sharing are by consent, and people can step back or change their level of involvement at any time.
– Cultural care: A deep appreciation for our own ancestry means we treat other cultures with dignity and respect, aiming for appreciation rather than appropriation and honoring Indigenous sovereignty and local protocols.
– Accessible & accountable: We work toward captions, transcripts, plain language, and sliding-scale access, with board oversight and space for community feedback.

For Those Who Have Stood Watch
For the ones who walked into fire while others ran, who still sleep light and scan every room—battlefield, street, clinic, or home—this hearth remembers you. You are not just “a case” or “a role”; you belong to an older tribe of guardians and keepers, and you are allowed to set some of the weight down while you remember who you are.

Those We Serve

We welcome people from many lineages and walks of life, including:

  • Those seeking to reconnect with their own ancestry, culture, or sense of place.

  • People struggling to make sense of the world—disillusioned with common paths, or finding their footing again after major life changes.

  • Elders, youth, families, and culture-bearers looking for a safe, non-clinical space to reflect and share.

  • Community members and partners who value dignity, reciprocity, and Indigenous sovereignty and want to walk together in that spirit.
