Although the rune of ice would indicate a stagnation or temporary paralyzation, it also means that of self-image, for it is easy to see our reflection in ice. In much the same way we maintain our physical bodies through sustenance, we must also ensure we are maintaining our emotional health as well. Ihwaz represents the Kundalini, or divine feminine, which encourages us to embrace an emotional intellect, to fulfill the intrinsic necessity of nurture, instead of nature.
