However, these personal lessons of life may have been incredibly subtle, almost imperceptible. Taking the time to embrace these experiences to determine lessons they offer is critical to establishing a solid foundation moving forward. Our present rune, that of Kenaz, indicates the necessity for our cognitive faculties, and clarity of thought. Making sense of the past and seeing its application to our future, by absorbing the lessons offered, and merging them with the new information being received here in your present.  Kenaz offers the potential of transformation, particularly to our perspective as to values carried forward from our past to the moment. Be willing to change your perspective, to embrace the movement toward enlightenment. As we move forward into our future, the understanding of the power of the divine feminine, or kundalini. We have watched, sometimes with critical eyes, those within our clan to establish a level of trust with them. These lessons of learning to trust others will serve us well as we move forward into our present, and on into our future. We must always remember the "safe harbor" we have when we reconnect with friends and family. A haven against the foes of negativity and segregation. With Uruz in an inverted state, and in our present, we are given cautions to retain control of our emotional spectrum. For in this state Uruz reveals that we could be swept away on an emotional interchange that can cause lasting damage to our potential for harmony with those around us. Its energy is powerful, so we must remain on our guard that we are in charge of how we feel, and how much we feel of it. There are those around you who wish to see you lose your temper, do not succumb to those influences, retain the control of your emotional state. Contained within our future is the outline of righteousness and honor, but don’t wait for our future before initializing these traits of yours, begin this very minute. The rune speaks of even-handedness, honesty, and mildly important, victory. Victory over those who would see us fall, those who are waiting for the weights of everyday life to burden down our shoulders to the point of collapse. Do not allow this to become your fate, stand tall, for you have already accomplished so much, do not surrender now. This rune is the rune of listening. Really listening. Observing the cautions issued by the runes, indicates ensuring that we do not subscribe to those who would undermine or destroy our divine link between us and our deities. The energy of Algiz is that of the Valkyries, or the shield-maidens of Frigg. Draw upon this energy to provide a defensive perimeter around our hearts, maintaining our connection to the divine above, and we will withstand these onslaughts.

It tells us that the lessons that we have struggled within the past are now coming to fruition in that we are beginning to recognize the self-confidence that is beginning its bloom. Our evolution from our past brings forth an understanding of open lines of communications, receiving intellect, and most importantly, the power of transformation. Today we are certainly receiving divine inspiration as we move closer to our destiny. Today, Berkano ensures that we have laid a solid foundation for the intellect within us to mature soundly. The rune reveals that we are best to learn and grow in silence and secrecy, for we may not yet be ready to face the negativity of those "naysayers" of the world. However, Berkano is the rune of new beginnings and birth, so you are now entering a new phase of your life where this mature wisdom that you have been cultivating has taken to seed, and initiated its growth. Much like the art of listening with one’s ears, we must remember to listen to one’s heart. In the truest form of communication, we are not "waiting to retort", but truly engaging in hearing the sounds, and processing the understanding as to what the speaker truly said. Pushing away the interpretations through our own emotional filters, we search for the true meaning of what is conveyed. So too must we remember to use this same process when listening with our heart.While typically Hagal surrounded himself with the chaos of a dramatic life, he also understood the balance of order. So too must we, as we move forward in our existences, Hagalaz is typically indicative of inner harmony, completion, and controlled crisis, keeping in mind that the alterations to our understanding are for the long-term good, and that these changes do align with the intrinsic ideas you had arriving at this point.

They reveal to me today, Sowilo represents the wholeness, so being that it is in our past today, I am getting the understanding that you have come to realize the entirety of the self. Connecting now our two parts, the spiritual, and the physical sides, becoming whole. Most often this brings with it an understanding or our life’s purpose, restoring our faith in the outcome of our journey. Using the energy of hope, we have initiated a connection between our two halves, to fully embrace who we have become. As we know, there can be no order without chaos, it is a required part of our existence. Chaos shakes things up and makes it different, sometimes not better, sometimes not worse, within our perspectives, just different. Today, Hagalaz being within our consciousness, or present, we find it recognizing the changes within our past experiences. However, it is through this balancing of the selves, that we find an inner harmony, can changes for the long-term good. A great rune to have within our present. Thurisaz represents those struggles we maintain against the unconscious, or spiritual mind. While there exists much negative energies here, they are purely cautions we must ensure to embrace to remain clear of thinking, or accepting this type of energy into our self. For if we can see the warning signs before arriving at these negatives, we can surely avoid them, simply by not venturing down those paths. Sometimes it can be fairly easy to fall victim to these types of energies, so knowing they are out there, be cautious. Odinn’s rune indicates that the gods were unable to fully come to a decision prior to us experiencing this rune tile, however, I engaged in further prayer about energies we should retain. The main thread I received was that of "lessons not baggage". This indicates that we need to ensure that the memories we have do not have any additional baggage that has no value to us in the current day. These are lessons we learned, it is time to move forward with our lives. Memories that have no value to us to learn any more from us, can be discarded in trade for those memories that bring joy, peace, and love, to our current lives.
