Our past reveals that although listening to the modern-day sounds may seem unproductive, they can connect us to the sounds of our ancestry, and our past. Remembering that listening is an entire process, and not just being quiet what another speaks. It includes the mental focus of a conversation, and the intrinsic reflection of what is being said and what emotions are associated with the communications. Being able to listen to our ancestors is a powerful way forward. Our present influence reveals Othala, the rune of ancestral spiritual power. Our present rune Indicates that we have obtained an intrinsic value in associating with our ancestors, regardless of the underlying reasons, the opening of this door indicates that our heart and mind are ready for the next stage in our evolution. Connecting ourselves to our ancestral line does so much more than just give us the necessary medical information we may be needing to obtain, but it connects us to a history of emotional journeys that has led humankind to you, to this moment in time. Embrace this energy, use it to expand your consciousness that you may come to know the remainder of this existence. To further reveal our future influences, we have drawn Thurisaz, and today it provides us with cautions about our future. Thurisaz is the rune of enthusiasm, however in today’s reading it issues us caustions about our future that we may willing and able to keep our "blinders" off as we learn more about our spiritual existence. Although inverted typically indicates many different negatives, today we receive a warning as to not succumb to these emotional states. Temptation will surround us as we travel into our future, however, we must never lose sight of our authority to control our thoughts and our feelings. We alone are the captain of our ship, and we maintain all the authority to change as we see fit, but only when we are ready. To understand what influences we should retain, we have drawn the rune, Uruz, the rune of manifesting. As we consider our trajectory, we must retain the understanding that we are the only authority within our own mind, and have every potential to change when we desire to. Today we must remember that a large portion of moving forward is our consistency and strength, but that luck holds a place in our lives as well. Just as important as luck is, we must recall that we can make our own luck by "stacking the deck" in our favor. By thinking about those things to come, we can establish a path that can only lead to continued success.

To reveal the influences of our past, we have drawn the rune of Ihwaz, the rune of the kundalini. Our past reveals that we willl have times throughout the week that we are reminded of the timeless energies of protection, and the initiation of our future. The constant movement toward enlightenment reminds us that we will be unable to reach our destiny without each step made between here and there. Live our lives and do not live in fear of incorrect choices. Live our feelings. Our present influence reveals Perthro, the rune of prophecy. Our present rune reminds us that our present is what we make it, therefore predicting that an event will be perceived poorly will cause the event to be received poorly. However, in the same way, when we predict a future or present of happiness and harmony, it too will come to fruition. We are reminded that our projected energy is what creates our interpretation of our experiences. Seek happiness. To further reveal our future influences, we have drawn "Odinn’s Rune". During the additional prayer it was revealed to me that we are responsible for laying the path stones of our future steps along our journey. If we choose to lay stones beneath the thorns, then we will set the path to that of pain. However, if we choose to lay the stones atop the thorns, then only missteps along the stones will cause pain. Be cognizant of the mindset we keep, remain positive of our future. To understand what influences we should retain, we have drawn the rune, Ansuz, the rune of listening. As we consider our trajectory, we must retain an open mind toward all the opportunities the gods offer us. To retain this open mind, we must be willing to eliminate our ego and fully engage into the listening to the world around us.  Fully engaging indicates that our ego is removed from our mental processing allowing for our truth to be fully heard.

To reveal the influences of our past, we have drawn the rune of Laguz, the rune of dreaming. Throughout our past we have seen dreams pass through our periphery that we may not have understood, yet there are still lessons to be learned from them. As today Laguz presents cautions for us to consider when absorbing these lessons of the past. We need to exercise this caution in ensuring that we retain one foot on the ground as we are reaching for the stars, as there are some among us who wish to carry these lessons of our past beyond their functional limits. If the lesson has been learned, move on. Our present influence reveals Berkano. As we reveal the rune of the present, we are reminded of the birth of the new you. Each experience we absorb into our consciousness alters our trajectory a small amount. These alterations will accumulate up to a large deviation from the path we had originally desired, however, instead of fighting our way back to the original path, we should open our mind to the potential that exists where we are. Take some time to determine who exactly we are, and where we want to go in this life, and focus on enjoying the journey. To further reveal our future influences, we have drawn the rune of Mannaz, and today it cautions us of our future.  While the rune typically is of the perfected intelligence, today it warns us of believing that our lessons apply to anyone else, as if setting expectations that everyone travels the same journey. We must be open to transmitting our intellect, however removing any temptation to control or manipulate others to believe exactly as you do will be a critical key to our successful management of our mental health. To understand what influences we should retain, we have drawn the rune, Jera, the rune of the season. Maintaining our understanding that everything happens within our lifetime at the only time that you are capable of experiencing it if a critical understanding to managing the threats to our mental health. While we may experience many different variants of a particular event, the universe will only provide those experiences we are capable of dealing with, even if they may seem very difficult, you are completely capable.
