Temptation will surround us as we travel into our future, however, we must never lose sight of our authority to control our thoughts and our feelings. We alone are the captain of our ship, and we maintain all the authority to change as we see fit, but only when we are ready. As we consider our trajectory, we must retain the understanding that we are the only authority within our own mind, and have every potential to change when we desire to. Our past reveals that we willl have times throughout the week that we are reminded of the timeless energies of protection, and the initiation of our future. The constant movement toward enlightenment reminds us that we will be unable to reach our destiny without each step made between here and there. Our present rune reminds us that our present is what we make it, therefore predicting that an event will be perceived poorly will cause the event to be received poorly. During the additional prayer it was revealed to me that we are responsible for laying the path stones of our future steps along our journey. If we choose to lay stones beneath the thorns, then we will set the path to that of pain. However, if we choose to lay the stones atop the thorns, then only missteps along the stones will cause pain. Throughout our past we have seen dreams pass through our periphery that we may not have understood, yet there are still lessons to be learned from them. As today Laguz presents cautions for us to consider when absorbing these lessons of the past. We need to exercise this caution in ensuring that we retain one foot on the ground as we are reaching for the stars, as there are some among us who wish to carry these lessons of our past beyond their functional limits. Each experience we absorb into our consciousness alters our trajectory a small amount. These alterations will accumulate up to a large deviation from the path we had originally desired, however, instead of fighting our way back to the original path, we should open our mind to the potential that exists where we are. Take some time to determine who exactly we are, and where we want to go in this life, and focus on enjoying the journey. To further reveal our future influences, we have drawn the rune of Mannaz, and today it cautions us of our future.  While the rune typically is of the perfected intelligence, today it warns us of believing that our lessons apply to anyone else, as if setting expectations that everyone travels the same journey. We must be open to transmitting our intellect, however removing any temptation to control or manipulate others to believe exactly as you do will be a critical key to our successful management of our mental health. Maintaining our understanding that everything happens within our lifetime at the only time that you are capable of experiencing it if a critical understanding to managing the threats to our mental health. While we may experience many different variants of a particular event, the universe will only provide those experiences we are capable of dealing with, even if they may seem very difficult, you are completely capable.
