Walking the Raven-Road

Walking alongside communities through discussions, workshops, and rituals that center story, dignity, and shared responsibility.

Along the Raven-Road, Alaska Úlfhéðnar partners with communities, organizations, and culture-bearers to offer public discussions, workshops, and community rituals. Our role is to walk alongside—not over—local leadership, lifting up cultural learning, remembrance, and care for one another.

What We Offer

Outreach takes different shapes depending on the community and who is leading the work.

  • Public discussions & teachings – conversations and talks on ancestry, culture, grief, and community care, shaped with local hosts.
  • Workshops & circles – small-group spaces for reflection, story, and simple practices that people can carry into daily life.
  • Community rituals & observances – seasonal or situational gatherings that honor story, land, and relationship, led in ways that respect local protocols.
  • Collaboration with elders, youth, and practitioners – showing up to support, not to replace, those already carrying cultural responsibility.

How We Approach Outreach

Outreach only works if it’s rooted in respect. We try to show up in ways that are careful, honest, and invited.

  • By invitation: We respond to invitations from communities, organizations, and local leaders rather than imposing ourselves.
  • Local lead, not takeover: We aim to support the people already carrying responsibility, not replace them.
  • Culturally respectful: We honor Indigenous sovereignty, local protocols, and the limits of what is ours to teach.
  • Non-clinical & trauma-aware: Everything we offer is spiritual and cultural, not medical or mental-health care, and we try to keep spaces steady and low-pressure.

Invite Us / Partner With Us

If you feel our work might serve your community, we’re glad to listen and see what fits.

  • We can explore public discussions, workshops, circles, or community rituals.
  • We’ll ask about who is already leading, what boundaries are in place, and what support you’re hoping for.
  • Not every request will be a match, but every conversation is met with respect.
