Nauthiz indicates that we must maintain the willingness and ability to apply action steps to our future, never forgoing the necessity of our commitment to the processes that manifest our ever-changing reality. The rune for our future reveals that our chosen trajectory leads to a period of wholeness, and that period will allow us the opportunity to grow spiritually. However, ensuring that we have established our own version of order within the chaos of our past lessons to ensure this wholeness, we must take time to rest our mind and body. Sowilo verifies that the wholeness of the self, both spiritual and physical, will need to be held on to tightly throughout each step of our existence. New experiences will bring new lessons, and we may feel pulled apart sometimes, however, retaining the integrity of what we’ve accomplished so far will become more critical as we move forward in our lives.

It is meant to remind us that exhale follows the inhale, and that summer always follows winter. Our future is not written yet, we have the opportunity to alter our trajectory in any way we desire. Hagalaz represents the establishment of order within the chaos which is our physical existence. We alone control our destiny and our path toward that destination. Our future position here shows that we are indeed taking the reins to control the direction of our lives. While the rune reveals much about toxicity and poison, it is our caution to avoid these pitfalls along our path. Laguz, today, reminds us again, that we are in charge of how we feel, thereby dictating what we experience in this reality. Remember, we can choose to see whatever future we wish to see. While Perthro normally represents that of the prophecy, today it offers us warnings about carrying our scars from the past into our future. By learning to decouple the emotional energy from the actual life event, we can enlighten our path forward, leaving behind the carnage left within the mind from the battles of the past. Our present influence is that of Sowilo, the rune of wholeness. By leaving behind the emotional baggage of the past, we open ourselves to new possibilities of a much different future. While there are many who are very excited about your journey, there are an equal amount who may desire altering our paths for their own gains. Be careful where we extend our trust to, as all those may not have our best intention in their minds. With this rune in the future position of our trajectory, this would indicate that there are many unfocused on mental processes engaging with the experiences that we are having. Noting the moment-by-moment state of our emotions will offer us the best opportunity to manage them, and control our interpretation of our reality. As we move forward along our trajectory in this physical life, we must always remember that although our physical forms maybe controlled by extrinsic forces, our mental processes are strictly our own. Soon the physical form will follow suit to whatever thought process we have, manifest within the mind, that which you desire.

A state of order cannot exist without its counterpart existing as well, for it is necessary at which to have chaos in our lives to establish order. This necessity of chaos exists that we may find our way to some level of order that works for us. Our present influence is that of Inguz, the rune of wholeness. Our present is driven by our desire to be whole, connecting our physical to our spiritual parts. However, a necessary part to our wholeness is our desire and ability to ensure we take time for ourselves. The necessity of intrinsic reflection cannot be overstated as our internal growth requires that we associate our experiences to our knowledges. The rune offers us the understanding that our future will need to have multiple paths of communication to the deities, not just our thoughts, but our desires as well. Ensuring that we keep the heart and mind in alignment as we move confidently into our future. Inspired by the gods. While Ehwaz suggests the energy of extending trust to friends and teammates, we must also learn to and practice trusting ourselves.
